COMPETITION FOR FUNDING YOUTH VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

As part of the project called “The Young are the Law”, the Resource Center for Jablanica, Pirot and Pcinj Districts, the association "People's Parliament", in cooperation with the associations of "Vision" from Pirot and "Generator" from Vranje, and with the financial support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, announced a competition for funding youth volunteer projects for the purpose of encouraging activism and youth volunteering, said Petar Djurovic, the Project Manager.

The requirements of the competition were recently presented at the Youth Office. Eligible to apply are youth associations and informal youth groups composed of at least five members, such as pupil or student parliaments, various youth clubs and other youth groups from the territory of Jablanica, Pirot and Pcinj Districts. Informal youth groups must have at least one person of age. Also topical are international volunteer camps in Serbia. It is another form of voluntary work in which volunteers from Serbia and abroad take part, while is designed for all young people aged 18 to 30.
