CHILDREN’S WEEK CELEBRATED IN MEDVEDJA

5. October 2018.

Medvedja – The children from pre-school institution "Mladost" and primary school "Gornja Jablanica" from Medvedja celebrated this year’s Children's Week with art and theater workshops and created their first small works of art.

During the Children’s Week, the youngest children, along with their teachers, visited the public institutions in order to find out how they operate. They also visited the local self-government and were hosted by Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja.

A welcome party, which included the appropriate packets of sweets, was organized for them in the large hall, while the little kids recited poems and reminded adults that they were familiar with their rights, and one of the most important ones is being happy and healthy.

They presented the local self-government with their drawings, which were handed over to the Mayor by the Director of the preschool institution, Dobrila Andrejevic. Upon being received and socializing at the Mayor’s office, the preschoolers visited the gazebo and also had a small trip in the countryside.

Elementary school children started celebrating the Children's Week by competing in sports games, rope towing and rope jumping, while they showed their masking skills yesterday when they, accompanied by their teachers, paraded through the center of Medvedja.
