CHILDREN FROM MEDVEDJA PARTICIPATE ONCE AGAIN IN THE UPCOMING COMPETITION "SERBIA IN THE RHYTHM OF EUROPE"

Medvedja – An agreement on cooperation with the representatives of the delegation "Serbia in the rhythm of Europe" was signed at the office of the Mayor of Medvedja, Nebojsa Arsic.

The signing ceremony was attended by David Makevic, CEO of the Rhythm of Europe and Lazar Veselinovic, the Head of protocol and organization of the Rhythm of Europe.

The event "Serbia in the Rhythm of Europe" has been taking place since 2008 and is aimed at talented children of primary and secondary schools. The viewers of the First Serbian Television will be able to watch the competition "Serbia in Rhythm of Europe", which will be the second time that the children of the municipality of Medvedja appear, since in 2014 they had already participated and represented the country of Finland.

 Primary and secondary schools whose students wish to sign up for the upcoming competition will be informed in the coming period of the manner and timing within which they will be able to do so.

Namely, in this competition participants are children from primary and secondary schools singing in the language of one of the countries of Europe, which will be assigned to them. The final competition is always organized in the city that won the previous year, and in 2020 the event will be hosted by the city of Vranje . More than 20 cities and municipalities participate in this competition.

This largest children's music project in Serbia was supported by ambassadors of Europe and the European Union, while media support was provided by First Serbian Television.
