CALL OF THE CREATIVE EUROPE SERBIA DESK TO PARTICIPATE IN THE IN-HOUSE TRAINING PROGRAM IN THE FIELD OF CULTURE (DEADLINE: AUGUST 10, 2020)

The Creative Europe Serbia Desk calls on all cultural institutions and civil society organizations to submit proposals for participation in the in-house training program, which includes direct work with the team of the public institution or citizens' association that is applying.

The training covers the following topics in the field of culture:

– Fostering program excellence - new program formats, tools and themes;

– Diversification of the funding sources and financial management of the projects;

– Staff development and partnerships through inter-ministerial and inter-sectoral connections, networking and co-productions;

– Development of the institution/organization through international cooperation and European projects;

– The "philosophy" and concepts of European cooperation.

At least three cultural institutions or civil society organizations will be selected within the public call, and the training will be realized by the end of 2020. The training will be organized according to the epidemiological recommendations and in accordance with the COVID 19 virus protection measures.

The goal of the public call is to raise the program-organizational capacities of the institutions and organizations that plan to participate in the Creative Europe program, as well as to promote the sustainability, success and program excellence of the projects  implemented by them.

Cultural institutions and civil society organizations that meet the following criteria have the right to participate in the training program:

 1) That they do not have a lot of experience in the implementation of cultural projects supported by the European Union’s funds;

2) That they employ/hire some of the personnel necessary for the implementation of the project (program editors, managers, organizers/ producers/ managers, public relations experts, economists, lawyers, etc.)

 3) That they have the potential for successful realization of the project idea or description of the problems that the institution/organization encounters in its work.

The applicants must e-mail the following required documentation to kreativnaevropa@kultura.gov.rs:

1)  A letter of application for the public call (in free form, up to 500 words) with an indication of the topic to which the application primarily relates;

2) A description of the project idea or a description of the problems that the institution / organization encounters in its work and on which the training program would be based (in free form, up to 500 words);

3) Data on the applicant ("identity card" of the cultural institution/civil society organization, the number and make-up of engaged persons, list of domestic and international projects, etc.).

The application deadline is August 10, 2020.
