CALL FOR PARTICIPATING IN THE YOUTHBUILD’S PROGRAM “THE KNOWLEDGE AND PROACTIVITY OF THE YOUNG LEAD TO NEW JOBS”

Bujanovac, Presevo – If you are unemployed and between 18 and 30 years old, if you graduated from secondary school or university, live in Bujanovac, Presevo, Novi Pazar, Sjenica and Tutin, then this is the call just for you.

Get involved in the YouthBuild program and be one of the 30 young people who will, through training, acquire the skills necessary for getting employed and being active in your local community.

In early August, you will be invited to the introductory training, after which the final selection of participants in the program will be made.

A group of 30 young people from Bujanovac, Presevo, Novi Pazar, Vranje, Sjenica and Tutin, who are between 18 to 30 years old, will participate in the six-month program, which will be conducted in three phases.

In the first phase of the program, a 22-day training course in business skills will be carried out. In the second phase, meetings between young people and employers will be held in all 6 municipalities, while the young people will, later on, through work practice, have the opportunity to support the development of the employers’ business enterprises. Provided the young pre-arrange it with the Civic Initiatives NGO, they will be able to stay one month at the minimum and three months at the maximum at one of the 20 local companies or enterprises, where they will use their knowledge and do work practice. In the third phase, business info centers will be set up, which will operate as parts of the Civic Initiatives’ local offices in Bujanovac and Novi Pazar, as kind of youth educational centers for developing business skills, models of inter-sectorial cooperation and providing support to the development of local businesses.

Travel expenses shall be reimbursed to the beneficiaries of the program who aren’t from Bujanovac and Novi Pazar.
