CALL FOR INTERESTED PERSONS WHO WISH TO START THEIR OWN BUSINESSES

Medvedja – A campaign launched as part of the project "Support to Socio-Economic Stability in the Western Balkans", which is implemented by the German HELP organization and funded by the German government, will be held in the municipality of Medvedja from April 19 to 30, 2018.

The overall objective of the program is to increase the capacity of economically and socially vulnerable groups of the population and their full inclusion in society.

Specific objectives of the program are to reduce poverty among the economically vulnerable groups, to increase the access of prisoners and former prisoners to the labor market and to ensure better inclusion of Roma in society.

The granting of the equipment, business and professional training courses, mentoring and networking, as well as project activities, will contribute to the economic strengthening of the target group, poverty reduction and will expand the possibilities of employment, including the use of a mechanism for strengthening the development of micro-businesses. Special attention will be paid to the possible synergy between national, regional and local initiatives.

The project is implemented in the Western Balkans, while the towns of Medvedja, Leskovac, Nis, Pirot and Svrljig in Serbia are covered by the project. 

Target groups include start-ups, micro and small businesses, unemployed young people, women, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities and hard to employ categories of the population.

All interested persons who wish to start their own businesses are asked to attend the presentations at which detailed information on the requirements of the call will be provided. The presentations will be held in the following order:

April 19, 2018, Thursday – Medvedja, the municipal building hall, from 12 am onwards 

April 24, 2018, Tuesday – Sijarinska Spa, the “Geysir” hotel, from 12 am onwards

April 25, 2018, Wednesday – Lece, primary school “Radovan Kovacevic Maksim”, from 12 am onwards 

April 27, 2018, Friday -  Tulare, primary school “Vladimir Bukilic,” from 12 am onwards

April 30. 2018, Monday – Medvedja, the municipal building hall, from 12 am onwards
