CALL FOR BRAVE YOUNG PEOPLE (DEADLINE: MARCH 15, 2021)

9. March 2021.

The Swedish Embassy in Belgrade announced that the international recognition "Young People’s Courage" was being awarded at the international level for the first time this year and that young people from Serbia, aged 13 to 20, were able to apply for the award until March 15.

The “Young People’s Courage” award is given to young people for a brave moral act, a good deed they have done for other people, their community or society.

The opportunity for young people from Serbia to participate, together with their peers from five European countries, in this important event, is the result of many years of successful cooperation between the Swedish Embassy and C 31 – the Center for the Development of Children's Rights in promoting active role of young people in building a democratic society, it was said in the statement.

Nominations with the information on the candidate, as well as briefly explained reasons for nominating the candidate, should be e-mailed to: ambassaden.belgrad@gov.se.
