BUJANOVAC TEACHERS: FIGHTING AGAINST VIOLENCE BY UNDERTAKING PREVENTION ACTIVITIES

Bujanovac – The Association of Teachers from Bujanovac (ATB) launched the project "Violence Has No Excuse" by holding a public lecture on violence at the "Vuk Karadzic" community center in Bujanovac.

While addressing the participants in the meeting, Snezana Mitic, the head of the said association, said that the ATB wished, thereby, to draw public attention to that negative phenomenon in society.

Representatives of the Center for Social Work, the Police Station in Bujanovac, the "SOS Helpline" organization from Vranje, the Group for Children and Young People from Nis and the "Branko Radicevic" elementary school from Bujanovac highlighted all forms of violence, as well as the forms of preventive action.

Members of the Students' Parliament of the "Branko Radicevic" elementary school took part in the public lecture, too. .

The implementation of the project "Violence Has No Excuse", which will last until November 25, 2017, began on November 13, which is the International Day of Kindness.
