4. November 2015.

Bujanovac - Secondary school students from Bujanovac, along with students of their own age from 14 cities in southeast Serbia, will participate in the "Business Challenge" regional competition of secondary school students in entrepreneurial skills, which will take place at the Pasha’s Fountain Hotel in Leskovac on Thursday, where 120 students from 21 secondary schools will gather.

Participants in the "Business Challenge" competition include students from Aleksinac, Bujanovac, Knjazevac, Kursumlija, Kucevo, Leskovac, Medvedja, Nis, Pirot, Prokuplje, Svrljig, Vladicin Han, Vlasotince, and Zajecar, who will all be tasked with solving a real business problem.

With the help of business volunteers, teams of students from different schools will devise the ways of solving problems and prepare business plans and presentations that will be introduced to members of the jury and the audience.

The competition was initiated with the intention of encouraging secondary school students to use their skills in an innovative way, thereby improving their entrepreneurial spirit and increasing their opportunities for employment.

Members of the three best teams will ensure their participation in the national finals, whereas the winners at the national level, together with their peers from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro, will participate in the Business Challenge of the Western Balkans event, which will be held in Zagreb.

The competition is organized by the "Junior Achievement Serbia" organization and is funded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia.
