BUJANOVAC KINDERGARTEN REMAINS STABLE IN PRICE

Bujanovac – It was decided at the meeting of the Bujanovac Municipal Council, which was held last Friday, that the price of a daylong stay of a child at the kindergarten of the “Our Joy” preschool institution (PI) should remain the same - 2,600 dinars per month.

According to Milovan Aleksic, the head of the institution, changes in the new decision on setting the price of accommodating children at the “Our Joy” PI referred only to the social categories of children, so that the beneficiaries of material assistance would pay the price reduced by 50 per cent. A 50 percent discount is provided for children of single parents, too, while kindergarten services will be free of charge for children without parental care, children with disabilities and children of war veterans.

A 20 percent reduction for the second child and a 40 percent discount for the third child remained unchanged, too.

The original proposal that the price of a daylong stay for the fourth and each and every subsequent child should be reduced by 50 percent, was changed at the insistence of Stojanca Arsic, the Deputy Mayor, who suggested that every fourth and subsequent child in the family should stay at the kindergarten for free, which was approved by the Municipal Council.
