BUJANOVAC: DEMONSTRATION OF THE SKILLS NECESSARY FOR PARTICIPATING IN PEACEKEEPING OPERATIONS

Bujanovac - A five-day tactical exercise "Rock 02" began at the “Jug” military base and on the “Borovac” training ground, during which the general purpose engineering company of the 310 th.  Battalion from Prokuplje would demonstrate the skills and equipment necessary for participating in multinational operations.

The exercise is aimed at checking and assessing the achieved level of interoperability and training of the units to execute complex tasks in multinational operations, while Colonel Sladjan Stamenkovic, who is in charge of carrying out the tactical exercise, said that the soldiers of our units had to know how to practically apply modern tactics, techniques and the Operational Capabilities Concept procedures. 

During the tactical exercise, the NATO "level 1" evaluation will be carried out according to the standards and procedures of the Operational Capabilities Concept, with the participation of 34 evaluators of the Army of Serbia, the partner countries (Canada, France, Ireland, Norway, Romania, the United States and Montenegro), the Joint Force Command in Naples and Brunsum and the Land Force Command in Izmir. The Head of the evaluation team is a Frenchman, Lieutenant Colonel Estur Benoit.
