BOZINJEVAC BECOMES A LOCAL COMMUNITY

Bujanovac – The village of Bozinjevac, which is situated in the vicinity of Bujanovac, is going to become the 28th. local community in the municipality of Bujanovac.  

The initiative for establishing the local community, which was adopted by the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac, was signed by 217 adult citizens of the settlement, which was, until recently, an integral part of the local community of Levosoje.  

The territorial and administrative organization of the municipality of Bujanovac, consisted, thus far, of 27 local communities. 

According to the 2002 census, there are 263 adult citizens living at the Bozinovac village, where the Bujanovac railway station is located, while the average age of the population is 34.3 years (32.2 years for men and 36.5 years for women). 

There are 92 households at the village, while the average number of household members is 4.09.

The village is largely populated by Serbs (according to the 2002 census), while there has been an increase in population in the last three censuses.
