ARMY OF SERBIA AND THE OHIO NATIONAL GUARD RESTORED THE KINDERGARTEN AND MUSIC SCHOOL

Following twenty days of work, the reconstruction of the children's nursery "Our Joy" and the music school in Bujanovac is completed. The contractors, who are members of the Army of Serbia, forty of them, along with the same number of their colleagues from the Ohio National Guard, concluded the "humanitarian assistance".

Funds amounting to 130, 000 US dollars, which is how much the project cost, were provided by the US command in Europe.

At a ceremony in Bujanovac, the reconstructed facilities were by ribbon-cutting opened by the Minister of Defense Bratislav Gasic, the US Ambassador Michael Kirby, and by the host, the Bujanovac Mayor Nagip Arifi.

The project leader, Colonel of Ohio National Guard Andy Steven, said that the project further strengthened the ties between members of the two armies.

Minister Gasic said that according to the bilateral military cooperation between the Serbian Army and the ONG, the project in Bujanovac was only one out of 132 ones planned for the year.
