The 4th. International Agricultural Fair, where over fifty agricultural and food – manufacturing companies are going to present their products, is going to take place at the Sports Center in Bujanovac, from Tuesday, April 28, until Thursday, April 30.

The general sponosor of the fair is the municipality of Bujanovac, while the organization of the event was assisted by the the Development Agency for Bujanovac and Presevo, as well as by the USAID’s Economic Security Program, through which 18,500 dollars were earmarked for organization of the event.

The goal of the fair is promotion of the economic potentials of the region by establishing and developing new business connections and by strengthening cooperation between local, regional and international producers of agricultural and food products. As the region is oriented towards agricultural production, the organization of the fair is an excellent opportunity for the exhibitors to present their products and to contract business deals, so that they could reach regional and international markets. During the fair, lectures on the safe use of pesticides, on nutrition and cattle-breeding, on fruit- and wine-growing, on forage crops, as well as on regulations of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, will be given.
During the last day of the fair, awards will be given to exhibitors for the most visited, most beautiful and most representative stand. Three student companies that participated in the Youth Achievement Program, which are from secondary schools “Sezai Suroi” and “Sveti Sava” from Bujanovac and “Skenderbeg” from Presevo, will present themselves at the fair.
