APPLICATION FOR GENDER E-TRAINING AT LOCAL LEVEL IS IN PROGRESS (DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 12, 2019)

The Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities (SCTM) is organizing e-training (distance learning) on the topic "Gender Equality at the Local Level." The training is intended for decision- makers and employees in cities and municipalities with the aim of providing support to local self- governments by strengthening their capacity to adopt and implement gender mainstreaming in their daily practice.

The beginning of e-training is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, and it will last for five weeks, until December 15, 2019. The training is organized within the project “Support to the Establishment of Good Governance Principles, with an Emphasis on Local Self-Government”, or within the project “Support to Gender Equality at the Local Level”, conducted by the SCTM, and supported by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).

The deadline for submitting filled-in applications is Tuesday, November 12, 2019, by 2 pm, to the e-mail address natasa.okilj@skgo.org .

Participants in the e-training should also attend the initial one-day meeting regarding the beginning of e-training, where they will receive basic information on the training program, mentors and on how to use the SCTM Distance Learning Platform. The initial meeting will be held in Belgrade, on Wednesday, November 13, starting at 10.30 am.
