ANOTHER COSME PUBLIC CALL

17. June 2016.

As part of the COSME program for legal entities, the Agency for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises of the European Union (EASME) announced another public call for improving the access of SMEs to public procurements. The aim is to contribute to improving the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises in tenders, especially in international ones, through the activities of intermediary organizations that need to support small and medium-sized enterprises when participating in public procurements.

Eligible to apply are legal entities that have established a consortium. The aim of the public call is to award funds to the consortia composed of at least three legal entities from three EU member countries, candidate countries for the EU membership or the countries participating in the COSME program. The legal entities participating in the consortium must be the organizations whose core business is providing support to business operations and/or promotion of the participation of SMEs in public procurements.

The total value of the budget of the public call is 800,000 euros, while four projects are expected to be funded.  The maximum funding is up to 75% of the total project value.

The application deadline is July 28, 2016.
