ANNUAL CONFERENCE FOR HISTORY TEACHERS

The European Association of History Teachers (Euroclio) and the Association of History Teachers in Macedonia (Anima) are organizing an annual conference that brings together history teachers.  The conference will be held in Ohrid from March 31 to April 6, 2014. The title of this year’s twenty-first conference on the teaching of history in schools is "Teaching History Outside Borders – in What  Way Can We Share Our Cultural Heritage". The working language of the conference is English.

Eurclio is an organization that was, at the request of the Council of Europe, founded in 1992 for the purpose of linking elementary and secondary school teachers of history from all over Europe. Initially, Euroclio gathered together 14 associations from 14 countries, mainly those from Western Europe. Today, Euroclio gets together 44 associations, as well as 15 associate members from 52 countries.
