A NEW FOUNTAIN FOR THE MUNICIPALITY DAY

Medvedja – The grand opening of the fountain in front of the community center in Medvedja is scheduled for Friday, May 19, confirmed Nebojsa Arsic, the President of the said Municipality.

The fountain was built as part of the project of re-building the entire square located in front of the community center in the town.

"We do not intend to stop here. We are working intensively on the renovation of the town square, facades and walkways, while the reactions of citizens are excellent, "Mr. Arsic said.

In cooperation with the Tourist Organization of Medvedja, tourist signs are being put up, while billboards have already been placed in several locations.

“Our goal is that our Municipality, upon the renovation, becomes a nicer and cleaner place for all residents and visitors of our region," Mr. Arsic said.

The Investment of renovating the square with a fountain is worth about 7 million dinars, while the funds for it were provided through the project from the budget of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.
