A LARGE NUMBER OF VISITORS IN SIJARINSKA SPA

Medvedja – Sijarisnka Spa, which is around ten kilometers away from Medvedja, recorded one of its most successful years. The reasons for the good visit are the curative waters, the unique geyser and the affordable prices, as well as the campaign of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism.

A paradise for the eyes, soul and body is at the foot of the mountain Goljak. That is how Sijarinska Spa is described by its visitors, who are happy to return to it and enjoy its benefits. Those who don’t rise early can’t find, this summer, a place under the geyser, which is a natural cure for stress.

A full-day enjoyment in swimming pools will cost you 160 dinars, while children pay half the price.

Visitors keep coming to and leaving a special hospital "Geyser", which has 277 beds, too. The current occupancy rate is 75%. The visitors, who came from all over Serbia, say that they are satisfied with the price, service, and that Sijarinska Spa simply does them a world of good in every respect.

In the medical block, where all the places are filled, electrical, kinetic and mud therapy, as well as hydro-massage, are applied.

Visitor with the vouchers of the Ministry of Trade and Tourism are there, too.

Full board with all the therapies at the special hospital "Geyser ", at which 310 beds have been booked so far, costs 2, 800 dinars.

“It will be fantastic for us as well, because we do market business", says the Director of the special hospital" Geyser ", Milorad Sterovic.

750 beds are available in the private accommodation in Sijarinska Spa, which are paid from 400 to 800 dinars.

“This year is satisfactory. All the rooms are full, although the season is already at the end,” says Dusko Nikolic, the owner of the private accommodation

“Two to three thousand visitors come to Sijarinska Spa over the weekend”, says Dragan Denic from the Tourist Organization of Medvedja.

Sijarisnka Spa is the kingdom of forests, clean air, walking-paths and as many as 20 mineral springs. Thermal and mineral waters, whose temperature is 73 degrees, flow into the Jablanica River. However, this picture might soon change because the Faculty of Mining and Geology in Belgrade has already done the project of district heating.
