A GARBAGE TRUCK AND CONTAINERS ARE ARRIVING IN BUJANOVAC

Bujanovac - The Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination TIKA will donate a garbage collection truck and 20 containers to the municipality of Bujanovac, worth 69 thousand euros.

The Mayor of Bujanovac, Nagip Arifi, signed a memorandum of cooperation with the coordinator of the TIKA office in Serbia, Calo Gultek Tosbat, which envisages a donation in waste collection equipment.

The donation from Turkey arrives at the moment of culmination of the garbage problem in the city and its surroundings.

“Turkey's TIKA is returning to Bujanovac with concrete projects. During the meeting, also discussed were the possibilities for financing projects aimed at the development of women's entrepreneurship in the municipality, "the municipal administration said.

TIKA has been present in Bujanovac for more than a decade, while the largest project, which it implemented with the local self-government, was the construction and equipping of a school in Veliki Trnovac in 2013, for which the Turkish agency provided more than a million euros.
