A FAMILY WITH TEN CHILDREN LIVING NEAR MEDVEDJA GETS A NEW HOUSE

Medvedja – A new house will start being built in ten days for a family from Retkocer village near Medvedja that is living in difficult conditions and has twelve members, including ten children. That was promised after the Minister of Labor, Employment, Veterans' and Social Affairs, Zoran Djordjevic, and the author of the show "House from the Heart", which is humanitarian in character, Zarko Lazic, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

On that occasion, Minister Djordjevic visited the family, when he underscored that he was pleased that everything would be done on time and added that he believed that that family would soon have a new house, which would certainly make their life much easier in the future.

“And in these difficult times, as we fight against the virus, we take care of our citizens and their needs. I am glad that we will help this family, they deserve it, "Minister Djordjevic said.

He also said that in the forthcoming period, the Ministry, in cooperation with the “House from the Heart” humanitarian project, would help other socially disadvantaged families in the territory of the Republic of Serbia and build new houses for them.

“We aim to provide a better life for all families living in difficult conditions, and give children a carefree childhood and a chance for a better future, because it is  the priority of the  Government of the Republic of Serbia is to create a better demographic picture and increase the birth rate, "the Minister said.
