2. September 2016.

Medvedja - The "Gornja Jablanica" elementary school in Medvedja is completely prepared for the start of the first term of the 2016/2017 school year.

The school completed all the preparations for the start of the new school year over the summer holiday.  All the classrooms were cleaned, the defects were fixed and the desks and chairs repaired.

370 students will be attending classes in the 2016/2017 school year. The appropriate formal  event was held in honor of the 52 first-graders, who were assigned to two classes.

The number of students isn’t definitive yet because some students will still come and some will leave, so that the exact number of them will be established in around ten days.

Slavica Djonic, the head of that educational institution, said that classes at the school were conducted by skilled teachers, with the exception of classes in physics and English, which were thought in a mixed class and in Albanian.

“As far as operation of the school is concerned, including teaching, management, administrative  and financial affairs and interpersonal relationships, it is well- known that the school is highly regarded  not only in Medvedja, but also in the territory of the Jablanica district, "Ms. Djonic said.
