28. August 2017.

Bujanovac – On September 1, 2017, 125 first- graders will take their seats at the desks of the “Branko Radicevic” elementary school in Bujanovac, as well as at those of the school’s regional units, said Natalija Stankovic, a teacher at the said school.

There will be a total of eight school classes, five at the school in Bujanovac and one each in the villages of Lopardince, Rakovac and Karadnik. There haven’t been any first-graders at the school’s regional unit in the village of Srpske Kuce for two years in a row.

“The first-graders will traditionally be welcomed to the “Branko Radicevic” elementary school at 1.30 pm on September 1. They will, thereupon, be taken over by their teachers, who will lead them to their classrooms. A day earlier, on August 31, the lists of students per classes will be posted on the school’s website,” Natalija Stankovic said.

All first-graders will receive free school bags, while every third child in the family, as well as those coming from socially disadvantaged families, will be given textbooks provided by the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.
