JOBS FOR ALBANIANS IN POLICE AND CUSTOMS ADMINISTRATION

Milan Markovic, President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, said that the activities for integrating Albanians in Serbia’s social and governmental system would  resume, adding that that implied jobs for Albanians in the Customs Administration.

INDONENSIAN DIPLOMAT IN JABLANICA AND PCINJ DISTRICTS

Medvedja – Excellent political relations between Serbia and Indonesia might expand in the future to include the field of economy, primarily the spheres of military and food-processing industry, as well as the sphere of tourism, said Samuel Samson, the Ambassador of the Far Asian country to Serbia, on the occasion of his first visit to South Serbia.

NEW PROJECT TO PROMOTE ADULT LITERACY IN SOUTH SERBIA

Bujanovac – Upon establishing that there are over 15,000 illiterate persons in the territory of seven municipalities of the Pcinj district, the “Second Chance” project was launched and  persons older than 15 were asked to register for completing elementary school part-time.

“TAKING CARE OF CONSTRUCTION WASTE” PROJECT, THE VALUE OF WHICH IS 124, 000 $

The event of signing the agreement on implementing regional development projects within the PBILD program took place in Vladicin Han.   The city of Vranje is going to receive the funds for implementing the project “Taking Care of the Construction Waste”, the total value of which is 124,000 US$, out of which 100,000 US$ is to be provided by the PBILD Program.

GOVERNMENT’S CONSIDERABLE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO BUJANOVAC, PRESEVO AND MEDVEDJA

Bujanovac – Last year, the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja invested 230 million dinars in providing the preconditions for economic development of those municipalities.   The points at issue included mainly the solving of infrastructural problems, such as reconstruction and construction of the local roads, improvement in water and power supply, providing support to agriculture and the tidying up of the municipal centers.

PATIENTS FROM SLOVENIA AND MACEDONIA

Bujanovac Spa – From the beginning of this year, a special rehabilitation hospital in Bujanovac Spa invested 3.4 million dinars in reconstruction of its existing capacities. The price of a one-day stay in Bujanovac Spa, which includes accommodation, meals and four therapies, is 2,200 dinars.
