“YOUTH IN THE MEDIA MIRROR” SURVEY

The Youth Umbrella Organization of Serbia conducted a survey on the position of young people in the media during 2019, the results of which were published late last week under the title "Youth in the Media Mirror 2019."

The survey is the third in a row and was published as a follow up to the 2017 and 2018 surveys of the same type. The need for a survey of this type arose as a response to the analysis of the domestic media in which the youth are constantly kept out of focus, or, if spoken about, they are mostly presented in a negative context. The media is also an area where young people produce media content, which is why the position of young people in the media in this survey is also analyzed from the perspective of young media employees.
