VOUCHERS GENERATE PROFITS

Sijarinska Spa – The special hospital for rehabilitation "Geyser" in Sijarinska Spa, which is situated near Medvedja, received 3,000 vouchers, said the Director of that institution Milorad Šterović.

“We want the vouchers to be used in the off-season, when we have rooms for visitors. The value of the voucher is 5,000 dinars, and we received 3,000 of them, which amounts to 15 million dinars. This offers great prospects to us and Sijarinska Spa, "says Mr. Šterović.

“Almost all the accommodation capacities at the hospital are filled now. In the first six months, the capacity utilization was between 50 and 60 percent, which amounts to around 1,000 guests. From the beginning of June, when the season started, until now, we have had between 7,000 and 8,000 visitors, "said Mr. Šterović.

There is a medical unit at the "Geyser" hotel that is staffed by two physiatrists, a general practitioner and a cardiologist. Medical treatments are carried out at the indoor swimming pool, by means of mud, massage, electro-therapy and electro-massage. Medical treatments are provided at the closed-type hotel too, both in the summer and winter. There are two large outdoor swimming pools under the geyser, as well as an Olympic-sized swimming pool with the accompanying grounds. Those conditions are ideal for the preparation of sportsmen and for the stay of children. The hotel also has a fully-equipped kinesitherapy unit.
