VETERINARY STATION BUJANOVAC PURCHASED THE EQUIPMENT FOR DIAGNOSING INFERTILITY

Bujanovac – The veterinary station of Bujanovac procured modern equipment and diagnostic tools for making an early diagnosis of pregnancy and infertility, so that high milk production could be maintained in the area of the municipality.

The experts from the facility, which is one of the best in Serbia, say that modern cattle-breeding implies the continuous production of large amounts of milk throughout the year.

“In the 21st century, the owners of cattle expect and demand from their veterinarians specific assessments of the reproductive status of their animals or a diagnosis of early pregnancy, fetal survival and ovarian activity - the treatment of infertility. By detecting pregnant animals, the unproductive period of cows’ production cycle is reduced,” said the experts from the Bujanovac veterinary station.

The new equipment was purchased in cooperation with the country’s best experts in this field.
