TRAINING ON "HOW TO USE CAREER GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING FOR THE EMPOWERMENT OF VULNERABLE ADULTS"

Belgrade - The "Tempus" Foundation, through the activities of the "EPALE" national support team and the “Euroguidance” national center’s network, organizes a two-day training "Overcoming Helplessness: How to Use Career Guidance and Counseling for the Empowerment of Vulnerable Adults", which will be held at the “Serbia” Hotel in Belgrade (127, Ustanicka St) on November 27 and 28, 2018.

The training is intended for career practitioners who conduct and/or plan to develop the activities of career guidance and counseling for vulnerable adults. During the two-day program, participants will have the opportunity, through interactive work in small groups, to learn about motivational interviewing, narrative techniques and the specifics of working with people from vulnerable groups. Participation in the conference and training is free. For participants from Serbia who do not live in Belgrade, whose applications were previously accepted, there is a possibility of providing accommodation, as well as reimbursement of travel expenses in accordance with the procedure of the “Tempus” Foundation, about which all those whose applications were approved would be informed in detail. The working language of the conference is English and interpretation into Serbian will be provided to all the participants who emphasize in their application form that they need it.

Employees of the National Employment Office, non-governmental organizations, schools that have adult education programs, career centers, as well as social workers, youth workers who are already conducting some of the activities of career information, advice and training for developing the skills of career management can apply by filling in the application form, which is available on https://erasmusplus.rs/obuka272811/, until November 15, 2018 at 12 o’clock noon.

The number of participants is limited to 30 per workshop, so that it is necessary to apply as soon as possible by filling in the application form. The approval of applications will be based on the expressed motivation, representation of participants from different types of organizations, regions and the time of applying.
