TOURIST ORGANIZATION OF MEDVEDJA AT THE 39TH INTERNATIONAL TOURISM FAIR

Меdvedja – The Tourist Organization (TO) of the municipality of Medvedja, in partnership with a specialized hospital for rehabilitation from Sijarinska Spa, participated in the 39th International Tourism Fair, which was held in Belgrade from February 23 to 26. The tourist offer of the region was promoted together with the Tourist Organizations of Leskovac, Bojnik and Vlasotince at a joint booth.

“The interest of visitors, various associations and travel agencies was beyond our expectation. Also, it is encouraging for us that Rasim Ljajic, the Minister of Tourism, and Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, visited our booth,” said Ljubisa Ristic, the Director of the TO of Medvedja.

The development of domestic tourism was, this year, further encouraged by the tourist vouchers of the Government of the Republic of Serbia to stay at the local tourist centers. Citizens will be able to use around 60 thousand vouchers at one of 135 tourist facilities.
