THE MAYOR OF PRESEVO THANKED HEALTH MINISTER LONCAR FOR HAVING BEEN TREATED FOR CORONA VIRUS

Presevo – Sciprim Arifi, the Mayor of Presevo, who was recently hospitalized in the Nis hospital due to the worsening of his health condition caused by the corona virus, announced on Facebook that he had recovered and returned home.

Mr. Arifi, among other things, thanked the medical staff for the treatment, but also the Minister of Health, Zlatibor Loncar, who, as he stated, promised him that all patients would be treated as professionally as possible.

“I thank the medical staff of the Health Center in Presevo, and the medical staff of the hospital in Nis, for professional and human treatment, as well as the Minister of Health, who promised me that all patients, regardless of their nationality, would be treated with the greatest possible professionalism, "Mr. Arifi said last night and “Kosovo Online” reported about it.

He also stated that, after a few days spent in the hospital, he returned to his "family in Presevo".

“Without any exaggeration, I can tell you that I went through a health challenge like I have never done before, it was even a confrontation with and a fight against death", Mr. Arifi wrote and the “Tanjug” news agency reported.

He asked his fellow citizens to observe a minute of silence to pay tribute to all those who had lost their lives in the global pandemic and to pray for all those infected with the corona virus.

On November 15, Mr. Arifi announced that his health condition was serious and that he was hospitalized in a hospital in Nis.
