THE 11TH EDITION OF THE EUROPEAN DIARY FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENTS HAS BEEN PUBLISHED

The 11th edition of the European Diary will bring the European Union closer to you.  The European Diary is a guide for secondary school students in Serbia about the European Union, its institutions and members, the European values and other relevant topics for the young.

Thanks to the support of the Ministry of European Integration and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, over 600,000 secondary school students have familiarized themselves with the European Diary so far.

The European Diary covers a wide range of topics, from the creation of the EU and its institutions, through the environment, human and minority rights, the common market and EU values, to the common currency. Secondary school students will learn from the publication more about student exchange programs, funds and scholarships, volunteering, language learning programs and the advantages for Serbia and its citizens gained through the process of European integration.

Part of the European Diary is a prize competition for student creative works, which is entitled “Europe and Me”. You can participate in the competition through the web platform https://www.evropskidnevnik.rs/konkurs.html, The competition is open to first, second and third grade secondary school students, who compete in the following five categories: photography, comics/cartoons, video, blog and multimedia. This year, the selection of the best and most creative works will be a joint endeavor of the audience and the expert jury. Following the expiry of the application deadline, which is January 31, 2021, visitors to the www.evropskidnevnik.rs portal will be able to vote for the winners of the competition until March 5, 2021.
