TEN MILLION DINARS SET ASIDE FOR YOUTH EMPLOYMENT IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PRESEVO

Presevo – In 2020, a total of 8,224,704 dinars were allocated from the budget of the municipality of Presevo for student scholarships, the municipality of Presevo said.

Last year, 2,794,000 dinars were set aside for the Youth Office.

As it was said, 1,577,625 dinars were intended for permanent activities of the Youth Office, while the amount of 2,216,449 dinars was from the funds provided by the program "Fight against COVID-19".

Also, one million dinars, which were intended for the activities of young people, were allocated from the budget, and that amount was paid to the Sports Center.

Also implemented in the municipality was a project on supporting youth employment, within which the local self-government in Presevo concluded an agreement on joint financing with the National Employment Office (NEO). The total allocated amount was ten million dinars. The NEO’s share was seven million dinars, while three million dinars were allocated from the local budget.

The payments planned for young people in Presevo in the 2021 budget are the following: 1,600,000 dinars for permanent activities of the Youth Office, one million dinars for youth activities within the Sports Center and seven million dinars for student scholarships.
