TEACHER SASA FROM THE "BRANKO RADICEVIC" ELEMENTARY SCHOOL GIVEN THE "KNIGHT OF TOLERANCE" AWARD

20. October 2020.

Bujanovac - Sasa Djordjevic, a teacher at the “Branko Radicevic” elementary school in Bujanovac, is one of the winners of the "Knight of Tolerance" award, which is given to those who "do good deeds to their fellow citizens, make donations, behave socially responsibly and set an example to others by their existence and activities in the community, promote philanthropy and altruism and show commitment in their work which goes far beyond their professional obligations".

Sasa has received the award of the "Knights of Smiles" Association because he selflessly shares his knowledge and helps his colleagues in organizing online classes.

“A colleague from Vojvodina proposed me for the award because of everything we had done so far to make it easier for teachers all over Serbia to work in the conditions of a pandemic. I say we, because I would not have succeeded without the help of my colleagues Sladjan Petrovic Djusa and Snezana Mitic, who deserve the award as much as I do, "Mr. Djordjevic says.

The "Knights of Smiles" Association is a non-governmental humanitarian organization gathered around the idea of daily professional engagement with the aim of providing socio-educational incentives to all persons with disabilities.  It consists of a group of social pedagogues, special educators and engineers, who are professional and dedicated in their fields.
