SUPPORT OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MEDVEDJA TO DISABLED CHILDREN

Medvedja - Parents of children with disabilities and of those with special needs were received by Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, who, on that occasion, listened to and talked with them about the problems they faced.

“Our task, as a society and this municipality, is to make the already hard life of those children of ours easier. We helped them and tried to meet their needs as much as we could. We provided financial assistance to them, organized their transport to specialized institutions and brought doctors from other places to meet the needs of children in the field. We will continue trying not to let our vulnerable group, our children, down," Mayor Arsic said.

It was agreed at the meeting that the parents should form an association through which they would be able to apply through funds and other projects of the Ministry, while the municipality of Medvedja would provide all the necessary technical support to them.
