STRATEGIC PLANNING TRAINING FOR CIVIL SOCIETY ORGANIZATIONS (DEADLINE: FEBRUARY 5, 2020)

The Resource Center for Civil Society Organizations (RC) in Serbia has launched a call for Strategic Planning Training for civil society organizations that is intended for representatives of organizations that want to get acquainted with the basics of strategic planning, the different approaches and the importance of this document in the development of the organization.

The training will last for two days and will be held on February 9 and 10, 2020 in Zrenjanin.

The aim of the training is to strengthen the capacity of civil society organizations in Serbia to accomplish their missions more effectively and is intended for organizations that need support in developing a strategic plan. During the training, various relevant topics will be covered to help the associations master strategic planning and understand the importance of the strategic plan.

After the training, organizations will be selected with which the RC mentoring team will be working on developing a strategic plan for their organizations.

Up to 16 representatives of civil society organizations (two to three representatives from each selected organization, with a focus on management functions) are expected to attend the training, while the selected civil society organization should fulfill the following requirements:

  • That it is registered in the APR
  • That it has implemented at least one project (either as a project partner or project promoter)
  •  That there is a high motivation and commitment to the development of the organization
  • That the organization has developed ideas or planned activities for the next year (activity plan)

Only the candidates who have passed the selection will be contacted.

The training organizer covers accommodation, as well as transportation costs. Transportation is refunded in the amount of the return ticket upon delivery of the original return ticket, or in the amount of the ticket price, provided confirmation of the bus station is delivered.
