STEFFEN HUDOLIN, HEAD OF OPERATIONS II OF THE EU DELEGATION TO SERBIA, PAYS A TWO-DAY VISIT TO SOUTH SERBIA

Bujanovac – Steffen Hudolin, the Head of Operations II of the EU Delegation to Serbia, will visit Vranje and Bujanovac on September 30, as well as the projects financially supported by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland through the European development program Progress, which contribute to the development of infrastructure, stimulate the competitiveness of local economies and job creation, as well as the promotion of social inclusion and good governance.

Steffen Hudolin, along with Mayor Slobodan Milenkovic, will visit the Bunusevac Free Zone in Vranje, for the purpose of further infrastructure development for which, the European Union, in partnership with the Government of Switzerland, earmarked 192,000 euros.

Steffen Hudolin will, in the presence of Dragan Stevanovic, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy, deliver grant contracts for 17 entrepreneurs, micro and small enterprises, which will, with the support of the European Union and the Government of Switzerland, in the amount of 253,880 euros, purchase the equipment, thereby increasing their production and creating the conditions for new jobs.

On the same day, Steffen Hudolin will meet in Bujanovac with Saip Kamberi, the Mayor of Bujanovac, and Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.

A day earlier, Mr. Hudolin will visit Bojnik and Lebane.

The European Union and the Government of Switzerland support the activities of the European Progress, which is a program that contributes to the sustainable development of the southern and southwestern Serbia, with a total of 24.46 million euros.
