SITUATION IN PRESEVO STABLE

Presevo - Avdi Bajrami, Commander of the Police Station in Presevo, recently said in Miratovac that "interpersonal and interethnic relations in that police station are good".

“About 60 per cent of Albanians, 36 per cent of Serbs and four per cent of Roma and Gorani are employed at the police station ", Mr. Bajrami said to the Police Director Milorad Veljović during a tour of the police checkpoint in Miratovac.

“Cooperation with the local population and self-government is good and we also provide a large contribution to the functioning of the municipal security council”, Mr. Bajrami said. He assessed the security situation in the municipality of Presevo as favorable and stable.

“The number of committed crimes is identical to the number of crimes recorded in the same period last year. A few days ago, we conducted an analysis of the security situation with the Chief of Police Department in Vranje, Sladjan Velinovic, and we concluded that the situation there was favorable and safe, "said Mr. Bajrami.
