29. March 2017.

Presevo, Bujanovac, Medvedja – A group of 90 teachers from the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja participated in a two-day seminar on professional development of teachers, which took place in Durres, situated in the Republic of Albania, last week-end.

The aforementioned educational gathering was organized by the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Albania.

The seminar is the result of a previous agreement of the Bujanovac Mayor Saip Kamberi and MP Fatmir Hasani with the relevant Minister in the Government of the Republic of Albania Lindita Nikola.

According to the media in the Albanian language, participants in the seminar were awarded certificates of participation in training in the fields of the Albanian language and literature, cultural heritage and the preservation, development and promotion of national values.

The media underscored that the recent visit of the President of Albania Bujar Nisani to the municipalities of Presevo and Bujanovac, the meetings between Prime Ministers Aleksandar Vucic and Edi Rama in Belgrade and the signing of the agreement on cooperation between the Ministries of Culture of the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Albania preceded the creation of a favorable climate for such cooperation
