SCRATCHES ON THE PAINTWORK OF AROUND A HUNDRED CARS IN BUJANOVAC

Bujanovac – The paintwork of a hundred or so cars, which were parked in the center of Bujanovac, was scratched last night. 

The Head of the Police Department in Vranje, Sladjan Velinović, confirmed this morning that until then around twenty citizens of Bujanovac, the paintwork of whose cars was scratched by an unidentified person or a group of persons, had contacted the police station in Bujanovac.  

“The scratched cars were parked in the city center and it is estimated that there are at least fifty of them, "said Mr. Velinović, adding that the police were working steadily on uncovering the perpetrator.

Also, the investigating bodies will check the recordings of surveillance cameras that were installed on several buildings in the center of Bujanovac.

According to the car owners, the paintwork of their cars was scratched with a nail or a similar object.

It is interesting that the paintwork on the front hood of a large number of cars was scratched, while the car owners estimate that a hundred or so vehicles were damaged in this way

So far, there has been no information that the massive damaging of cars was caused by the national or political affiliation of their respective owners.
