PUBLIC CALL FOR THE SUPPORT OF WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP THROUGH THE ALLOCATION OF GRANTS IN 2014 IS OPEN UNTIL JULY 11

9. June 2014.

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises owned and run by women, as well as entrepreneurships founded by women, have the opportunity of receiving grants in the amount of 50, 000.00 to 300, 000.00 dinars.

The deadline for submitting applications is July 11, 2014.

With the aim of developing women's entrepreneurship, the grants will be approved for the following: the organization of business operations in accordance with the requirements of international business standards, improvement of the existing and development of new technological processes, improvement of the existing and developing of new products /services, the testing of new products, development and implementation of a specialized software, new product design and packaging, electronic presentation of the company and training of the management and staff through specialized training courses.

Applicants for the grants must meet the following requirements: that the predominant activity of their companies is the production or provision of services, that the companies are in majority private ownership and that they were registered in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, that the participation of women in the ownership of the companies is over 25% and that women, at the same time, run them, that the companies were established by May 31, 2012, at the latest, that the companies operated successfully in the previous two years, that they employed a minimum of 2 persons for an indefinite period in December 2013, that they paid income taxes and contributions for this year are that they didn’t use any incentives of the National Agency and other state institutions for this year.

The total funds available for the implementation of the program amount to 7, 000, 000.00 dinars. Pursuant to the contract concluded with the receiver of grants, the National Agency for Regional Development will refund the amount of up to 75% of the total eligible costs of the project, excluding VAT.

The program of support of female entrepreneurship through the allocation of grants in 2014 is conducted by the National Agency for Regional Development, in cooperation with the accredited regional development agencies.
