PUBLIC CALL FOR SUPPORTING THE HOTEL INDUSTRY PUBLISHED (DEADLINE: MARCH 12, 2021)

26. February 2021.

The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications issued a public call for grants to support the operation of the hotel industry due to business difficulties caused by the COVID-19 epidemic.

Categorized privately-owned hotels in 76 municipalities and cities in Serbia have the right to non-refundable funds (a list of local self-governmental units from whose area hotels are entitled to apply for a subsidy can be found on www.mtt.gov.rs ).

Funds are allocated in the amount of 350 euros per individual bed and 150 euros per accommodation unit (per room), in dinar counter-value calculated at the middle exchange rate of the National Bank of Serbia on the day when state aid was granted, while payment will be effected into dedicated dinar accounts opened at the Treasury Office.

An economic entity loses the right to use the subsidy if it reduces the number of employees by more than 10% until the end of the period of three months after the payment of aid, not counting the employees who have concluded a fixed-term employment contract with the economic entity until the end of three months after the paid aid.

The application form for the use of funds can be downloaded from the official website www.mtt.gov.rs.

Requests for the use of grants are to be submitted to the Ministry at the following address: Omladinskih brigada 1, 11070 New Belgrade.

The deadline for submitting applications for the use of non-refundable funds is March 12, 2021.

Any additional information can be obtained by phone numbers: 011/3139672, 011/3139691 и 011/3139668.
