PUBLIC CALL FOR SUBMITTING PROJECTS FOR THE PROGRAM OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF BUSINESS INFRASTRUCTURE IN 2017

Belgrade - The project applicant may be the local self-governmental unit in whose territory the implementation of a specific project is planned. The applicant may submit only one project.

Funds amounting to 365,824,000.00 dinars have been provided for the implementation of the program of support to the development of business infrastructure in 2017. 

The said amount has been earmarked for undertaking the measures of equipping business zones with infrastructure and those of improving infrastructure facilities for the purpose of linking business zones with the surrounding area.

The program is aimed at supporting the development of business infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for attracting investments through improving the business environment and creating new jobs. The purpose of the program, which is implemented through the measure of infrastructural equipping of business zones, is participation in funding the implementation of projects of construction, reconstruction or rehabilitation of communications, electricity, energy and other infrastructure facilities in the business zone.  The Ministry of Economy participates in the financing of the project in the amount of up to 60 per cent of the value of the project, VAT excluded.

The requirements for obtaining the program’s funds are the following: the implementation of the project should be in accordance with the aim and purpose of the program; the co-financing of the project by the applicant should be in the corresponding amount, while the project should be in line with the spatial and urban plans of the local self-governmental unit.

The deadline for submitting the projects is 15 days from publishing the public call in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia". The project proposal is to be submitted on a form - Proposal for the Program of Support to the Development of Business Infrastructure in 2017, which may be downloaded on the website of the Ministry: www.privreda.gov.rs.  The project proposal, including documentation, is to be submitted to the following address: the Ministry of Economy, the Commission for the Evaluation and Selection of Projects, 11000 Belgrade, Knez Milosa 20.

The decision on the allocation and use of funds to support the improvement of business infrastructure in 2017 is published in the "Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" and on the website of the Ministry.
