PUBLIC CALL FOR SUBMITTING PROJECT PROPOSALS IN THE FIELD OF PROTECTION OF VETERANS AND DISABLED PERSONS

The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans' and Social Affairs, the Department for Pension and Disability Insurance and Protection of Veterans and Disabled Persons, sent a public invitation to interested civic associations, established for the purpose of improving the position of fighters, military invalids, civil war invalids and families of fallen combatants, to submit project proposals that would be financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia.

The priority of this call is to improve the social inclusion of fighters, military invalids, civil war invalids and families of fallen soldiers in the Republic of Serbia, as well as to foster the traditions of Serbia's liberation wars, through:

Promotion of the achievements of Serbia's liberation wars,
Strengthening the role of associations of fighters, military invalids, civil war invalids and families of fallen combatants in the local community.

The applicants may be:

Registered civic associations whose head offices are located in the territory of the Republic of Serbia;
The associations that carry out their activities in the territory of the Republic of Serbia;
The associations that are directly responsible for the preparation and implementation of their projects;
The associations that have material and human resources for the implementation of their projects;
The associations that conduct regular financial operations.

Every civic association has the right to apply with one project proposal, which will be implemented for a maximum duration of up to six months.

During the implementation of approved projects, the Ministry will carry out the control and evaluation of the implementation of the accepted projects. The negative report will affect further financing of approved projects. Based on regular and extraordinary reports on the implementation of project activities, and in accordance with the available budget funds, the Ministry has the right to request modification of the projects, as well as of the concluded contracts.

Interested civic associations are obliged to submit their project proposals no later than 8 am on August 5, 2019.
