PUBLIC CALL FOR PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS OF PUBLIC INTEREST IN THE YOUTH SECTOR (DEADLINE: AUGUST 9, 2019)

The Ministry of Youth and Sports issued a public call for programs and projects of public interest in the areas of the youth sector: Public Call for Providing Support to Local Self-Governmental Units (LSUs) with Implementing Youth Policy at the Local Level.

Participation in the competition is open to the local self-governments that have established a youth office, in accordance with Article 22 of the Law on Youth.

The objectives of the competition are:

1. Providing the conditions for spending quality leisure time, actively participating in society, organizing cultural events, non-formal education and providing information tailored to the needs of all categories of youth (renovation and equipping of youth clubs and other youth premises);

2. Providing the conditions for promoting and practicing healthy and safe youth lifestyles in LSUs adjusted to the needs of all categories of youth (participation in the construction of outdoor gyms, open spaces for recreational facilities, cycling and trim paths, etc.);

3. Developing one or more programs and establishing sustainable and cost-effective youth services (career service, info service, volunteer service, health counseling service ...).

The deadline for submitting program and project proposals is August 9, 2019.

The documentation necessary for applying is to be submitted to the Ministry's records office or sent by post.
