PUBLIC CALL FOR EXERCISING THE RIGHT TO INCENTIVES FOR THE PURCHASE OF NEW LIVESTOCK BREEDING MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the Directorate for Agricultural Payments, issued a public call for the submission of requests for exercising the right to incentives for investments in the physical property of farms for the purchase of new machinery and equipment for the improvement of primary agricultural production in livestock breeding in 2019.

The incentives include incentives for investments in the procurement of new machinery and equipment for the preparation, distribution and storage of concentrated and bulky animal feeding stuffs; for the manipulation and distribution of solid, semi-liquid and liquid manure; for weighing, directing and restraining animals; for the production of table chicken eggs; for beekeeping.

The procedure for exercising the right to incentives is initiated by submitting a Request for the exercise of the right to incentives for investments in the physical property of farms for the purchase of new machinery and equipment for the improvement of primary production of plant crops in 2019 in the period from July 10 to August 30, through the Records Office of the Republican administrative bodies in Belgrade, Nemanjina 22-26, Belgrade, or by post to the address: Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management - Directorate for Agricultural Payments, Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 4, 11050 Belgrade.

The incentives shall be determined in the amount of 50% of the value of the eligible investment minus the amount of funds in the name of value added tax, or in the amount of 65% of this value in an area with difficult working conditions in agriculture.

The funds in the total amount of 420,000,000 dinars are earmarked for exercising the right to incentives and for the payment of incentives for realized investments.

The maximum total amount of incentives the incentive beneficiary can get in a calendar year is 1,500,000 dinars, except for incentives for investments in the purchase of new machinery and equipment for the production of table chicken eggs, for which the highest total amount of incentives the beneficiary can get in one calendar year is 3,000,000 dinars.

The request for being granted the right to incentives is to be submitted in the period from July 10 to August 30, 2019.
