PRIZE COMPETITION "BE THE BEST, CIRCULATE - ACTIVATE YOUR BRAIN CELLS" (Deadline: November 1, 2020)

The prize competition is launched by the Civil Society Organization Concept Ecology-Energy-Economy "EEE CONCEPT", as an activity within the project "BE THE BEST, CIRCULATE", which is supported by the Ministry of Environmental Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

The theme of the competition is ecological entrepreneurship - circular economy.

The main goal of the project is to acquaint secondary school students with the basic principles of sustainable development through the development of environmental entrepreneurship as a prosperous occupation of the future through multi-disciplinary solutions to specific environmental and social problems of the separation of municipal waste at the place of origin.

The special goal of the project is to propose to the community a possible new way of municipal waste treatment through a new construction of a waste bin or an adapter to the existing bins, which saves energy and labor on transport and treatment, through increased value of the selected waste.

Secondary school teams (consisting of minimum 3 members) have the right to participate in the competition. The competition was launched on October 10, 2020, while the applications can be submitted until November 1, 2020.

Competition-related educational and practical workshop activities will last until December 5, 2020, when the results will become knows and participants will be announced along with the celebration of the International Volunteer Day and the International Land Day. Prizes in the amounts of 50,000, 30,000 and 20,000 dinars are planned for the best teams.
