Press release - AGREEMENT ON SPORTS COOPERATION BETWEEN BASKETBALL CLUBS “BSK JUNIOR” AND “ELITA”

BUJANOVACThe Agreement on Multiethnic and Sports Cooperation between basketball clubs “BSK Junior” and “Elita” is going to be signed at the “Mladost” Sports Center in Bujanovac at 2.30 pm on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.Minister Milan Markovic, President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, and Saip Kamberi, President of the Municipality of Bujanovac, are going to sign the agreement as guaratntors of the said basketball clubs.

The scope of the agreement is a long-term sports and business cooperation of the two clubs for the purpose of providing sustainable conditions for a massive involvement in sports of children and the youth at basketball clubs “BSK Junior” and “Elita” and with the aim of achieving top results by these two clubs. One of the goals of the agreement is also to jointly set up competition teams, which would commence competing at the 2010 Summer League. The agreement implicitly implies joint appearances before spectators, the combining and exchanging of players of the two clubs, which are made up of Serbs, Albanians and Roma.  

A four-member Executive Committee is going to be a body responsible for management and decision-making on jointly taken activities. The “BSK Junior” basketball club is going to be represented by Miroslav Ristic and Nenad Stajic and the “Elita” basketball club by Selami Selimi and Vehid Vebiju.
