FREE SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR FIRST-GRADE STUDENTS IN PRESEVO, BUJANOVAC AND MEDVEDJA

Belgrade, August 30, 2013 – On Monday, September 2, nine hundred first-grade students of elementary schools in Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja will receive free school supplies that are worth 804,602.40 dinars. The donation was provided by the Coordination Body for the above-mentioned three municipalities. The school supplies kit includes a school bag, a pencil case, three notebooks, a sketchbook, a ruler, colored pencils, an abacus, a pencil-razor, a rubber, pencils and ball-pens. The value of a set is 804,60 dinars.

President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Zoran Stankovic, together with the mayors, will present the school supplies to the first-graders of the "May 9" primary school in Presevo, as well as to those of "Vuk Karadzic" and "Desanka Maksimovic" primary schools in Bujanovac. Deputy President of the Coordination Body, Sima Gazikalovic, along with the mayor of Medvedja, will deliver the school supplies to the first-graders of the "Gornja Jablanica" elementary school.

11 am, "Gornja Jablanica" elementary school, Medvedja;

11.30 am, “May 9” elementary school, the village of Reljan, Presevo;

12 .30 am, “Desanka Maksimovic” elementary school, the village of Biljaca, Bujanovac;

1.30 pm, “Vuk Karadzic” elementary school, the village of levosoje, Bujanovac.

From 9.45 to 10.30 am, on Tuesday, September 3, President of the Coordination Body and H. E. Mehmet Kemal Bozay will talk to each other on the premises of the Coordination Body’s Office in Bujanovac.
