The Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja stated that unnecessary tension was created in our public by provocative and threatening statements made by former members of the disbanded "Liberation Army of PBM".

This is corroborated by the fact that the inflammatory statements were conveyed through only one website, but also by the fact that all the Albanian media in South Serbia refused to publish the news, considering it harmful for the people who live in the area.

The problem associated with putting up a monument is to be solved by the competent institutions of the Republic of Serbia, and not through the media.

The laws of this country are the same for all its citizens and must be respected by everyone.

Our responsibility is to make it possible for the citizens in this area to live and work freely, to earn and to provide better lives for themselves and their families, to solve their existential and social problems, to enjoy human and minority rights, and the Serbian government makes a great effort in that respect, regardless of the difficult economic situation.
