We hereby invite you to cover  the visit of a delegation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports to Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja on February 26 and 27, 2013. The purpose of the visit is the introduction of the "Sport in Schools" program, which includes elementary school students from grades one to four. The program is free of charge and it doesn’t burden the parents financially, while the schools shall get the sporting equipment and qualified teachers from the local communities, who will implement the program. 25 cities throughout Serbia are included in the first phase of the program.  

The delegation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) includes Predrag Perunicic, Secretary of State for Sports, Igor Marinkovic, a special Adviser to the Minister of Youth and Sports, Borislav Stankovic, General Secretary of the Federation of School Sports of Serbia and Nenad Antic, the coach of the national teams.   

During the visit to Presevo on February 26, the delegation of the MYS will first visit the the Coordination Body’s Office in Presevo, and will, thereafter,  along with representatives of the Coordination Body, have a meeting with the Mayor of Presevo, Mustafa Ragmi.  Competent persons from the Coordinating Body and the MYS delegation will visit the  "Ibrahim Kelmendi", "Vuk Karadzic" and "Abdullah Krasniqi" elementary school, where they will note the state of gyms and learn about the opportunities and needs of those gyms.

On the very same day, they will meet with the Mayor of Bujanovac, Nagip Arifi, and will, thereupon, visit the "Branko Radicevic", "Sveti Sava" and "Naim Frashëri" schools. They will, then, visit the "Mladost” sports center, where they will be met by the children that go in for different sports, while Predrag Perunicic, Secretary of State for Sports, will address the attendees of the event. 

On the second day of the visit, on February 27, the delegation consisting of members of the MYS and Coordination Body will pay a visit to Medveđa, where they will meet with the Mayor of Medvedja, Slobodan Draskovic. They will also visit the"Gornja Jablanica" school and the “Jablanica” football club”.
